Established as an independent entity in 2002, Univest Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Souderton, Pennsylvania. The Foundation supports individual donors and non-profits in the Greater Delaware Valley Region with their gift planning needs.
Univest Foundation is committed to bringing charities and donors together through the promotion of philanthropy. Through planned giving, the Foundation assists clients with their charitable planning requests by accepting gifts of cash, securities, real estate, closely held business stocks and IRAs. Offering a variety of charitable planning options provides clients with the opportunity to reach their highest giving potential and the ability to take advantage of immediate tax benefits. William F. Van Sant III, CFP®
William F. Van Sant III, executive director for Univest Foundation, has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. As the executive director of Univest Foundation, Van Sant is responsible for providing strategic direction to grow the Foundation and its ability to partner donors and charitable organizations for the benefit of our local communities. In addition to his role as executive director, Bill is also a senior vice president and managing director of Univest Investments, Inc. and Girard Partners, Ltd., a Univest Wealth Management Firm. Bill received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Ursinus College and holds FINRA licenses 7, 63, 24, and 51 along with the Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license. Bill also holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). In addition, Bill enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and giving back to help multiple nonprofit organizations that support American History and Historic Preservation. Bill is also a regular guest on WNPV AM 1440's show, Comment Please.
Client Service Associate
Jennifer Ashley, Client Service Associate for Univest Foundation, has more than twenty years of experience in the nonprofit industry. She is responsible for assisting with individuals achieve philanthropic goals and guiding nonprofits in sustaining their missions through planned giving initiatives. She earned a B.A. from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA and a J.D. from Widener University School of Law. Jennifer is active volunteer with the local Boy Scouts, Montgomery County 4-H and her church.
Sue Swope, administrative assistant for Univest Foundation, has more than 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is responsible for correspondence and audit reporting for Univest Foundation. Sue is active in the community and volunteers her time to the bell choir and financial budget committee of Ridge Valley United Church of Christ.
